These former owners of a successful gourmet wine store, famous for its holiday gift baskets, sought to create a unique line of gifts that could be sold year round.  They developed a line of premium, high-quality picnic baskets in 1982 and not long after, other retailer were eager to purchase wholesale picnic baskets for their own stores.  Picnic Time was born.

In 1987 Mario and Gustavo created the worlds first insulated picnic backpack and have continued that tradition by leading the way in developing the most innovative picnic products on the market.  Picnic backpacks, rolling picnic coolers, premium wine cases, or traditional picnic baskets all carry Picnic Time’s signature sense of style and Italian elegance.  Picnic Time puts a contemporary spin on the age old tradition of al fresco dining.
