Standard Lean-to
The Standard greenhouse is designed by Santa Barbara Greenhouses to be a beautiful and functional space for you to pursue your gardening hobby.
The frame of the Standard greenhouse from Santa Barbara Greenhouses is constructed entirely of kiln-dried, clear (meaning no knots) redwood. Not only a beautiful accent to your outdoor living space, redwood is great insulator and naturally resistant to insects, mold and fungus. It creates an attractive and durable greenhouse. All Santa Barbara Greenhouses incorporate a vertical wall construction that provides up to 30% more growing space above benches than sloped or dome shaped greenhouses. With two glazing options you can customize your greenhouse to match your tastes and needs. It comes with either clear, corrugated polycarbonate panels or 6mm double-walled polycarbonate panels.
The Standard, like all Santa Barbara greenhouses, has plenty of room to work. All models have a six foot shoulder height which provides plenty of head room and vertical grow space above the benches. Your Standard is easily accessible with a 3’x 6’7” Dutch-door that also provides plenty of ventilation for healthy plant growth. In addition it comes standard with four sliding vents to promote cross circulation.
As your horticulture hobby grows, so can your greenhouse. All models of the Standard greenhouse are extendable in length with four foot redwood sections of the frame. Simply unbolt one end, bolt in the extensions, put the end back on and your greenhouse grows with your garden. This seven foot wide model can be extended up to 20 feet long. Optional, redwood benches can also be added to increase your growing area. Benches for the seven foot wide model are 28 inches deep and 30 inches high while benches for the 9 and 14 foot models are 33 inches deep and 30 inches high. All benches are sold by the pair and can be sized to fit the length of your greenhouse.
Your Standard greenhouse’s all bolt construction makes it easy to assemble, so you’ll be gardening in no time. Everything comes from the factory with all parts precut and pre-drilled and all hardware is sorted for your convenience. It usually takes two people two to three days to put it together, using an adjustable wrench, Philips screwdriver, hammer and ladder. You’ll enjoy the comfort of a 10 year warranty on the polycarbonate panels and a one year warranty on parts.
